Summary

How long will it take? Between 6 to 18 months
Why? Depends simply on how much there is to do and how quickly the required changes in the systems and attitudes can be affected

If you have ISO 9000 registration, then you already have the structure of commitment, planning, action, and evaluation in place. To apply for the IIP Award by external evaluation is therefore very short. i.e. 6 months or less.
