Business Excellence model

The Business Excellence Model (BEM) was developed for the European Quality Award, as an ideal way to run a successful caring business that gave all the stakeholders in that business an opportunity to participate and measure how well that business is performing when compared against other businesses within its own operational sector and other businesses at large.

The BEM has been adopted by many National Countries as their Quality Award performance measurement indicator e.g. The British Quality Award.

In addition many companies utilise the BEM criteria as a vehicle to improve their efficiency, and change their method of working solely for their own benefits. There is no obligation to apply for the National Quality Award.

Business Enhancement Ltd. was the consultant chosen by the EU/EFTA organisation to develop and implement the National Quality Award for the two countries Hungary and Slovenia, where both private businesses and governmental departments were educated and trained in the application of the BEM, and how to consistently measure the operational performance using the BEM criteria.
